Expected Impact:
⏱ Estimated Service Impact: Up to 60 minutes interruption during the maintenance window.

Description:
Chorus has scheduled planned network maintenance involving SROS software upgrades (23.10.R10) across 7950, 7750, and 7210 platforms as part of a SOAK batch deployment.

Customers may experience a temporary disruption to affected services during the maintenance period.

Additional Information – Vulnerable Consumers:
Following completion of the planned work, service status should be monitored closely. If services are not restored within the advised timeframe for customers registered under the TCF Vulnerable Consumer Code, or for any suspected vulnerable consumer, this must be reported to Chorus immediately via the standard medical escalation / fault notification process.

The local network provider will be carrying out pole replacement works, which will require a temporary shutdown of power.

Client Advisory: Cyclone Vaianu – Warning Lifted, Wind Watch Remains

Severe weather conditions associated with Cyclone Vaianu have eased, and the primary Severe Weather Warnings have now been lifted for our region.

A Wind Watch remains in place until 12:00am, with the potential for isolated strong wind gusts as the system continues to move away.

Current Operational Status
All systems are online and stable
Power supply remains stable following earlier brief interruptions
No active infrastructure risks requiring intervention
Operations have returned to normal monitoring levels
Residual Risk (Low)

While the main threat has passed, there remains a low-level risk of:

Isolated wind-related disruptions
Minor, short-duration power or network instability

No proactive shutdowns are anticipated under current conditions.
